The French manufacture of Savonnerie was the most prestigious European manufacture of pile-knotted carpets. The decoration followed the predominant style in the furnishings of the various historical periods. The Savonnerie that we present has a Louis XV style and the dark brown color of the background accentuates its magnificence. A showy carpet, but also very elegant, capable of making any environment important.
