This carpet recalls Sardinia in every detail, knotted in wool with the bouclé technique (eyelet technique) and decorated with a geometric pattern that harks back to the archaic tradition of the island. The mélange color of the bottom comes from the use of wool in its natural color. The production of textile products in Sardinia has a very ancient origin: a trade in carpets and other artifacts of the Sardinian tradition existed since the times of the ancient Romans.
