Meymaneh is the capital city of the Faryab region. Kilims from this area can easily be recognized for their fierce, brilliant chromatic palettes, often obtained from natural tinctures, known as \u201ccolours of wood\u201d: reds, blues, oranges, yellows and different shades of rust.
