The background of this carpet is so rich because it collects all the symbols of the nomadic culture of the Caucasian populations. The execution of this example is particularly interesting because the production of Caucasian carpets does not include the cardboard where the design is reported before the execution as is done for Persian carpets. Therefore in this example we note the rich and lively imagination of the weaver, who probably knotted this example for an exceptional occasion.
