Hand-knotted carpet with pure wool yarn on a cotton warp. Knot density: 90,000 per square meter. Hand finished with carving shaving. Designed and created in 1989. Limited edition of 5 copies. Elio Palmisano’s atelier represents one of the few Italian companies (if not the only one) to have created a large number of tapestries and carpets during the second half of the twentieth century, in synergy with contemporary artists.
