The traditional weaving of “Kilim Bessarabia” rugs probably dates back to the late Ottoman period in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Our model is characterized by a floral composition placed in two symmetrical vases, placed horizontally with respect to the carpet texture. The main flower is the rose and you feel the influence of the Western world, brought by the winemakers who worked for the French manufacturer of Aubusson and Savonnerie.
