AMRITZAR
Lunghezza: 340
Larghezza: 270
Provenienza: INDIA
Hailing from the late XIX Century, this carpet was originally meant to adorn the lavish residences of the Maharaja, and it has been probably woven by Persian artisans stationed in India. The nuanced décor of this piece – ranging from lime green to beige, and into scarlet – echoes the style of Persian carpets, but this particular specimen truly stands out from its refined chromatism and flair in colour.
