Chuval is the bag used by the Turkmen nomadic populations to carry supplies and everyday objects, also used as a wall decoration inside the tents. The archetypal gul has a variously decorated interior and sometimes takes on a hexagonal shape. Equally varied are the borders with a white background with meanders, boats, stylized birds, motifs inspired by the “running dog”.
