GABBEH
Lunghezza: 287
Larghezza: 167
Provenienza: PERSIAN
Gabbeh is a rug grossly knotted with a fleshy pile and many more textures between the rows of knots. Carpets and fabrics with this name are produced by wandering nomads and villagers of southwestern Iran. The threads are worked and twisted by hand, dyed with vegetable colors and woven on a woolen warp. The rugs are simple, with few designs and usually with bright shades. The sober and linear designs give these artifacts a modern look.
