The French manufacturer of Aubusson is famous both for the production of wall tapestries and for the weaving of beautiful floor rugs. The specimen we offer is from the early twentieth century and is characterized above all by particularly soft colors. The design repeats the style imposed with Napoleon III, but the pastel shades certainly fit better in the bourgeois houses of good French society.
