An impressive Berber carpet, mid-century, of Oouauzouite quality. A piece characterized by a saffron yellow wool structure. Traditionally, these rugs have a decoration that portrays the everyday life of the tribe along with classic themes of Muslim tradition. Three symmetrical polygons on a cochineal red background with a motif which encloses another central polygon. The blue tone of the field is very particular and recalls the blue doors of the Medina.
