Vintage Berber carpet Beni Ouarin. With its simplicity, its soft pile and its primitive style, this carpet is an expression of the tribal art of Morocco. The graphics of this carpet are particularly rich. The essential symbolism is an expression of nomadic populations who find their first inspiration in the nature that surrounds them. Through these symbols they express abstract concepts, linked to their life experiences. The Beni Ourain are Berber carpets made in Morocco, hand-knotted with raw wool, characterized by the colors of the wool in its natural shades and by very essential geometric designs. Used as beds under tents by the nomadic populations of the Sahara desert, they offer pleasant comfort thanks to their soft wool.
