BAKSHAISH
Lunghezza: 389
Larghezza: 102
Provenienza: PERSIAN
This antique rug from the 1920s, made of wool on cotton, comes from Bakshaish, a town in Persian Azerbaijan where precious and very particular carpets are woven. The decoration is of a stylized floral type with an all-out design. At the center we see a dense vegetable decoration with rosettes, polychrome palmettes and tendrils. The more geometric border ends with the characteristic camel color.
