Carpet of Indian production in pastel tones. A large lemon green medallion rests in a field of flowers with a beige base. The rich border has a yellow ocher background with purple and blue, decorated with small medallions decorated with the so-called cloud band motif. These eclectic carpets were intended for the sumptuous residences of the Maharajas and made at the Indian courts by workers from Persia.
