Ciajli is a village in the southeastern Caucasus region of the Mogan region. Among Caucasian rugs, Ciajli rugs stand out for their fidelity to tradition and the purity of their design. Their distinctive indigo-colored ground features three distinctive octagons that almost fill the entire surface. Their background colors are alternating red and blue. The decoration is somewhat reminiscent of Afghan gul rugs. The interior design features elements common to rugs from the same area. The wool is soft and lustrous, and the pile is relatively high.
