TULU’

The Tulus come from the highlands of central Anatolia. Village rugs are characterized by a very long fleece and a shiny and resistant wool. Abstract and essential motifs are decorated. The design is always very simple and sometimes as in this carpet there is not even a decoration. The color and the shiny wool are its characteristics. At the top it has two bright blue knots, an extravagance that wants to be a kind of blessing.
